Generally, it is preferable to work together in the same room, but there can be advantages to 'remote' working. For example, it allowed continued work during the Coronavirus pandemic. See Keeping safe for more about this.
I offer regular sessions in which we can talk. I will be guided by your idea of what to focus on. If you are not sure what issues to address, that's fine, we can explore together.
It is important to me that we are clear about and agree on what we are doing. Mostly, you talk and I listen, without judging. I reflect back to you my understanding and things I believe will help you.
It is very important that you feel safe with me. What you say is treated in strictest confidence, much as when you see a doctor, and any notes I make are locked away between sessions.
For individuals, sessions are 50 minutes long; for couples, they are usually 75 minutes long. I offer appointments on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, both mornings and afternoons. Depending upon availability, I may be able to offer early morning or late afternoon/early evening appointments.
We will normally meet at the same time each week, and we decide together how many sessions are appropriate for you.
I offer an initial free discussion, usually over the phone, of up to 30 minutes, to allow us to see how we might work together.
My current standard rate for individuals is £50 per session of 50 minutes. For couples, I offer sessions of 75 minutes for £75. I will give at least a month's notice of any change of these rates.
But please talk to me if cost is a concern for you.
For remote sessions, I prefer payment by bank transfer (BACS) or via PayPal, at this link: paypal.me/deepjadesea. Or I can send you a private weblink on which you can make a secure card payment.
In person, I also accept payment by cash, card or cheque.
I can work short-term or long-term, going as deep as is right for you.
Some clients find that a few weeks are enough, others continue to work over a longer period. As a client, you share control over and responsibility for the course of the work, so we can end when it is best for you.

I will be watchful of the possibility of spreading disease (as I write this, COVID19 is still around, still infectious, and still sometimes very nasty). I ask you to do the same.
I regularly clean my room, I will have hand sanitiser available, and I have an air purifier operating in my room during sessions. Unless it is very cold, I will also have an open window.
If I suspect I am infectious (I will take a Lateral Flow Test if I think it is COVID), I will revert to using Zoom or phone — and I ask you to take the same precautions.
(I have found this blog post a good summary of the risks of spreading the coronavirus.)
