Working with Christopher Pollock

Where do I work?

I work in a comfortable room in Trowbridge, Wiltshire.

How I work

I offer regular sessions in which we can talk. I will be guided by your idea of what to focus on. If you are not sure what issues to address, that's fine, we can explore together.

It is important to me that we are clear about and agree on what we are doing. Mostly, you talk and I listen, without judging. I reflect back to you my understanding and things I believe will help you.

Confidentiality

What you say is treated in strictest confidence, and any notes I make are locked away between sessions.

What times can I come?

For individuals, sessions are 50 minutes long; for couples, they are 75 minutes long. I offer appointments on weekdays, both mornings and afternoons. Depending upon availability, I may be able to offer early morning or late afternoon/early evening appointments.

We will normally meet at the same time each week, and we decide together how many sessions are appropriate for you.

How much does it cost?

I offer an initial session, with no obligation, in which we can see how we might work together. This session is free, if less than 30 minutes, otherwise my normal session rate is chargeable. If you do choose to continue, we agree on future meetings, payments and other administrative details.

My current standard rate for individuals is £35 per session of 50 minutes. For couples, I offer sessions of 75 minutes for £50. I will give at least a month's notice of any change of these rates.

How long does it last?

I can work short-term or long-term, going as deep as is right for you.

Some clients find that a few weeks are enough, others continue to work over a longer period. As a client, you share control over and responsibility for the course of the work, so we can end when it is best for you.
